This game is fun as hell, I would highly recommend it to anyone into old school side scrolling shooters. To hell with the people that bitched about a "sega game on their ps4". I'm going to assume they were all born after 1998, or just have no idea what fun is.

Montreal-based developer Canari Games has announced their first title on Kickstarter, Lunark. Currently there is an estimated release window of April 2020.

Mercenary Kings Reloaded review - ChristCenteredGamer

This 2D shoot ‘em up is a mashup of Metal Slug and Monster Hunter. The story goes as follows: scientists were creating a bio-regenerating formula on a remote island when the chief engineer was kidnapped by Baron and his CLAW forces. A team with royal sounding code names were sent to rescue him. However, only your character and another survived the attempt. The deaths of your comrades are quite gruesome and portrayed vividly in pixel styled cutscenes.

Huh! A free upgrade to the previous ps4 version. Just redownloaded it again, acts like an update. Pretty amazeballs.
