The good: Swanky design with quiet operation; all games in high-definition; PSP-like user-friendly interface; plays high-def Blu-ray movies in addition to standard DVDs; built-in Wi-Fi; 60GB hard drive; Bluetooth support for wireless controllers and accessories is coming; backwards-compatible with PS2 and PS1 titles; built-in memory card readers; online play is free; HDMI output with 1080p support; no external power supply
The bad: Pricey; first wave of games is somewhat anemic; doesn't upscale DVDs to HD resolution; no force feedback (rumble) support in controller; a USB port on the back would've been nice; glossy black finish is a fingerprint magnet; HDMI cable not included.
The bottom line: Sony's PlayStation 3 may be the most expensive next-gen game console, and its launch titles are not all that impressive, but its swanky design and bevy of features, including a Blu-ray drive, make it hard to resist--even at $600.
After 20 years of ongoing service, the original Guild Wars still makes good on a promise it made that no other MMORPG has been able to truly mimic.
Been there since day 1, and the first beta, same with GW2. 20 years and they never said oh now we need to charge a monthly fee, and they only made Guild Wars no other games. I'm going to assume GW3 will have the same business model.
I got to 50 I believe but never got into it very much.It was fun but all of my friends were still playing EQ. Good to see it’s still going though.

Noticed my copy of gta5 on Steam was already upgraded without me doing anything. How can you still play the legacy version?
Nathan Williams from Bebington has made a dream leap from virtual tracks to real-world glory, clinching victory in his debut race in the OT Coupe with Toyo
The interesting thing isn't the 8.8 the editors gave the console, it is the anemic 7.3 that users gave it. Compare this with their Wii review, in which users ranked the system higher than the console.
I think it is a pretty interesting benchmark as to how the _average_ consumer feels, and I would imagine that virtually all of it comes down to price and the low adoption of HDTV sets.
XBOX 360 got a 8.4 during its launch and the avg user rating was also 7.5. So I guess PS3 wins :)
But to me both the consoles are great and XBOX 360 has the greatest game on its console out this year (GOW).
.... and so will the PS3.
One thing I know for sure is "I HATE C-NET REVIEWS"
I would pick a fist full of other tech sites to look at for info and reviews over C-Net
