I thought it would be obvious to anyone that watched even a few seconds of the video that it's not VR as you can see your surroundings...

yeah, I caught that part too, lol... It has no screens built into it, you have to use your "mobile device" as the screen... ha ha.. really? thats gonna suck...and if (and its a big "if") it even works, then suddenly your eyes gonna go crazy when you get a call...lol.

Sigh... there's going to be a lot of crap VR hardware racing to the market later this year. This isn't quite VR, but it doesn't seem promising from what was explained.

There's a rumor that Valve actually have a VR prototype. That's going to be interesting. A real legitimate 3rd option if true.
