Frankenreview, Haze (PS3)

A year ago you couldn't look at a list of PlayStation 3 killer apps without seeing Free Radical and Ubisoft's Haze right up there towards the top. Promising cutting edge visuals, a deep story, and the unique power of the nectar, a drug that gives soldiers superhuman abilities, Haze seemed destined to become one of the PS3's definitive games.

So how did destiny fare? The game is out, the scores are out, and the word is out on the ambitious first-person shooter. Does Haze deliver a nice, warm buzz, or does it leave you shaking and sweating in the corner, craving your next fix? Here's several small doses of Haze, now in convenient capsule form.

too bad the reviews arent honest, every 1 including my self who bought the game says its redicioulsly good. good of not excellent graphics, exelent gameplay, good story, awesomely fun online play...what more do you need? good reviews? fvck reviews, im never looking at another 1 because they have verry poor judgment. only famitsu i will listen too.

i dont play my games out all at once. thats just how i do. im letting my fello gamers know that haze is worth the money and it llives up to the hype know matter what a review says....it is nothing like the demo. every 1 who bought it or rented it thinks its crazy and they love it. now the ps3 gots HAZE mofo! yea! yeaA!

I agree with you but Famutu have their share of bad reviews, I mean they gave RED STEEL a good score, why? just why? that game was one of the worst in history, even the developers admitted it.

famitsu is highly respected for their rpg and japanese centric game scores, but EVERYONE, and i do mean EVERYONE, knows that when it comes to big name games, the bigger the hype the higher the score.

famitsu is one of the LAST magazines you want to listen to when it comes to a genre like FPS, use it for everything else :/

The demo wasnt THAT bad, but the voice acting was atrocious. I think IGN kinda ODed on the score nonetheless

I was excited for HAZE last year before it got delayed, but since then I didn't really care that much about HAZE. To be honest I was expecting HAZE to be just another average shooter. Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 are the only 2 First Person shooters on the PS3 that even matter.

Ubisoft/Free Radical might as well release this game for the PC or something because it's not really important anymore. I've got bigger and better things to look forward too, like Metal Gear Solid 4. I'm already getting a little bored of GTA4 and MGS4 is just the game to lift the PS3 to new heights. You can always count on Kojmia, that's for sure because Kojima doesn't release medicore bullsh*t.

The game is what it is: a failed Crysis rip. I called it over a year ago, back when it was supposedly coming out on both consoles. What have we learned? I'm always right. Crap game, just like the failed Ass Creed.

Have you played it? The first poster here says otherwise and he has played it so what about you guys? Have you played the retail version or are there just a few too many sheep here going by reviews and a year old demo? Anybody?
