I hope this is not true for XboxOne, as it breaks the balance of fair play on consoles. If you want K&M mouse then play on PC, as that is fair play for all then. This is bad news I think.

For all you wining about fair play ...m&k does not unbalance the game. I use a similar device and my friend a controller ...and he's still way better. Skill comes down to map awareness, tactics, and knowing how to play well ...the input has nothing to do with skill. IE: Just because we all drive cars, doesn't mean we're all professional race car drivers ...practice and skill makes you good. And seriously I can't play one bit with a controller, a m&k just allows me to try the game and honestly sometimes I kill it and sometimes I get worked ..mouse gives me no added advantage other then being able to participate

I'm sorry, but you're an idiot. Your car driving comparison relates to this in absolutely no way. A more accurate comparison would be saying someone driving a car is going to be faster than someone driving a semi truck. Using a keyboard does indeed give you an unfair advantage. That doesn't mean that there aren't other factors in skill, it's just a big one. You can be a hell of a lot more precise with a mouse and keyboard. Just try playing on PC with a controller. Just because your friend has more skill with a controller than you with a k/m doesn't mean there's no difference, it just means you're that much worse than your friend. If it didn't give an advantage, why wouldn't these people just play on PC?

a top PC clan vs a top console clan would probably have the PC clan win most of the time.

Majin ..check out xim3.com ...way better product, its still in beta but I expect them to release their device soon. The translation is crucial, and the people over at XIM have the best 1 to 1 translation

I can't speak for this device, but on the XIM u can use the Sony Nav for movement and the mouse is purely for aim & shoot ...and yes the translation from the people at XIM is the best I've experienced, it's 1:1

I had no problem keeping up with the m&K players on Unreal Tournament 3. If you're good with a controller it makes no difference.

It makes a hell lot of difference. with a controller the average joe will have to outsmart the KBM player in shooters.

A mouse can be very finely calibrated, it analyses its movement with such resolution and refresh rate that it gives a 1:1 response, and that you move it through your wrist and all fingers which pretty much allows for better precition also.

Not denying that it exist some extremely snappy thumbs out there but in the big scheme of things it is just no contest.

auto aim helps, but in general a mouse is more accurate.

The only problem that I find with keyboard/mouse on console is that their not properly optimized for the console ports of certain games.
Unless it's properly optimized and is able to be button remapped for the console ports then it's just a waste of money.
IMO.
