Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls: How Blizzard is attempting to fix its most controversial game

May 15, 2012. Diablo III, a game millions had been waiting to play for over a decade, launches into immediate turmoil: overloaded login servers sour the experience into little more than waiting outside of the coolest party in town, only players had already spent $60 to get in. The problems took days to rectify, but the real damage came weeks later: with an economy that had to factor in a controversial auction house, people were bored of playing a game designed to never get boring...

Blizzard can try to fix this game all they want, the experience was ruined for me and I won't turn back.

"How do you solve a problem like Diablo III?" Well, making PS4 users wait so long isn't solving it, but at least they're not dropping a steaming deuce in our laps ;). I don't mind waiting as long as it's worth the wait.

Thanks to Morpheus I'm more careful with what games I buy since I'm saving up for it, too many companies release unfinished games :(.

I only bought the original D3, and have been bombarded with ads to upgrade to ROS. My characters are at Paragon level 267, I have no intention of upgrading to ROS yet as I'm still sore at Blizzards for making this game online-only. I feel like I've been beta testing this game for the consoles.

I was a staunch hater of Diablo 3. The game itself has incredible core problems that prevent you from enjoying the things that made D2 so much fun.

With that said I am impressed with RoS. The Adventure mode after you complete the story has randomly generated story type "missions" The paragon levels keep you grinding away to make your character better once you cap out as well keeping the grind alive. That with the new loot tables and the game is now much more playable than it was. Still flawed but at least now its fun.

I completely agree. There's a few small things you can do that make it better, like resetting your quests to get better loot, paragon levels now cross all characters, better drops, and increase in difficulty levels and better bonuses from each level. Yeah.

To the masses:
If you were disappointed with D3 when it first came out (on PC) like I was, and haven't tried playing it since before the new updates, try it for a couple of hours. Also, you don't need to buy reaper of souls for most these updates either, so give it a try.

Right on my thoughts exactly!

They could start by going back to a more fitting art style, but we all know that won't happen.

With all these changes, can we play it in offline mode on PC? It's the change I want the most to play it again.

And yet it took a console to make this game truly awesome. And user friendly.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Co-op Review [Co-Optimus]

"A few years ago, a mobile game developer called Super Evil Megacorp had the brilliant idea of making a TMNT roguelike. After first releasing it on Apple Arcade, they wisely recognized the game’s potential on other platforms. TMNT: Splintered Fate has slowly but surely come to all major platforms, finally arriving on Xbox today. Not only is Splintered Fate a fine roguelike and co-op game, but it’s also one of the best TMNT games ever made," says Co-Optimus.
