Pure Chess will offer three chess themes (Halloween, Easter Island, and Battalion) for $1.65 each, and three chess game packs (Roman, Park, and Forest) for $2.69 each. The game itself will run you $7.99 should you desire to play chess on your Nintendo system of choice.
Neil writes "If you've been gaming for a number of years, then chances are you would have stumbled across a VooFoo Studios game. With their 'Pure' series of games wowing gamers from across the formats, and then the superb Mantis Burn Racing arriving on the latest consoles a few months back, their pedigree has never been in question. And that's perhaps how and why they are able to celebrate being in the business for 10 years, in which time they've garnered more than 5.5 million downloads."
James writes - "When family and friends come round, the drinks are flowing and the chat grows tiresome, it’s usually time to venture to the board game cupboard. Half the time is spent setting it up and packing it away, but there’s an even easier way to enjoy the world of board games at the press of a button... via the Xbox One."
Neil writes "There are all manner of piece sets and board types available to choose from in Pure Chess, but from today those options have just got a load sexier."
Seems like a scam to me. Some games come with so much content and then this.
That's because the game is a port from PS3 and Vita (may be available on other platforms as well) and it's the same there. But there it launched and the DLC came later, on the Nintendo versions they should have bundled it.
