Sorry if I read you comment wrong but you said controls for Assassins Creed and Rayman need to be spot on precise if you dont want to die. I havnt played Rayman but I have Assassins creed. I never died because of controls, in fact I only ever died in sea battles by losing my ship. On land I would stand in the middle of a group and tap circle then square to one hit kill. I never got punished for miss timing. Once all but grunts are dead I would just shoot the grunts. Go play Dark Souls then tell me your controls need to be spot on in assassins creed

Sorry, Valve and Nintendo are the only two companies I know that have continually produced master pieces in terms of "Gameplay" (e.g. Ocarina, Galaxy Series, Metroid Prime, Half Life, Portal, TF2, Counter Strike)

Seriously several OTHER big time publishers have already started releasing games with Oculus Rift support so it seems as if preperation for the O.R. is worth the small investment.

At least put a small team on it so that your company can gain some first hand knowledge and experience of the Oculus Rift, I'm sure some Ubisoft interns/modders would love to work on this.

it wasn't bad at all. There was no support for it and when they finally announced they'd discontinue the system I went and got one from kb toys for $30. I also got wario world and telero boxer, the system came with mario tennis.

I loved the system, just wished there were more games. And it had a halfway normal controller, something nintendo hates doing with their consoles...

If we're being realistic and reasonable there's still no guarantee this'll shine a new light in this, our industry. Whether it be because of price, or appeal to the mainstream of our audience. It may never sell like what I, you, or any of us really want it to sell like. So I can't really blame Ubi for this, or any dev. But it WILL take a maverick company/dev. This will sell one million easy if they do it right. Sony needs to appeal to more than the hardcore though. They are on the right track but they need to look at games that will sell this. First person shooters, racing, niche genres, and exploration adventure games are a no brainer but I havent heard of sports games. Im not a sports fan but if you showed me Madden playable in first person I would be interested. Imagine like a helmet cam with all the sounds from the field.
