EA games web server hacked to host phishing website

The website that has been put in place by hackers asks users to enter their Apple IDs - the credentials needed to access services like Apple's iTunes.

Poor EA after the all bad stuff they get hacked to by plishing Oh they deserve this!

PsyMonk3y4120d ago

So , you're saying that the many should be punished for the bad choices of the few?

ObiWanaTokie4120d ago

Nope he was saying EA deserves to have a horse shit on their chest. the sheeple involved into giving their info away in a weird place they normally dont do it are merely pawns. be more careful with your lively info.

but in all seriousness EA can suck a tuna can's girth chode

Yet another royal screw up by EA after all the games they've release broken, investers suing them and now this more people being screwed for being EA customers and trusting them!!!

Whats next?

"This just in EA devs accidently set off nukes aimed at russia while trying to make battlefield 5 starting world war 3!" LOL

vallencer4120d ago

So someone hacking their servers is their fault?? You can't be serious?? People may not like EA but they don't, and the customers sure dont, deserve this.

PsyMonk3y4120d ago (Edited 4120d ago )

Yes its their fault for not having decent enough security and no their customers don't deserve it at all hence my comments saying as much.

"now this more people being screwed for being EA customers and trusting them!!!"

"EA do for sure but the customers that trusted their website security giving all their personal information don't! "

vallencer4120d ago

Doesn't matter what security you have. If someone wants to hack something and they have the skill set they're going to. And in all fairness if a customer enters in their apple ID on a EA website then they probably deserve to have their information hacked. Oh and I can read by the way. I In fact know what you said but I was still at disbelief because it's asinine to say that.

ObiWanaTokie4120d ago

exactly! people on here defending the customers and EA ARE the customers that were sheepish enough to enter their apple ID on a game publishers website.

i mean did they not for one second think: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Absolutely insane. Man I'm hope they land on their feet EA needs to get the shit together badly....

This is why this industry has slow releases and none compelling games.

Why would anyone willingly work in the VG industry or specifically for one of these globocorp organizations that put you in constant fear of losing your livelihood based on terrible choices made by idiotic management, not the people with talent making the actual games?
