iGR: "Naughty Dog designer Isabetta Silli took the stage to break down some of the level design techniques she implemented in the studio’s most recent release, The Last of Us. If you’ve played, you’ll recall what’s referred to as your graduation from the early tutorial phases, a larger area called “The Docks“. Isabetta remarked that she made the most changes to this particular level on account of it playtesting rather poorly.
