Deponia will be coming to PS3 and iOS, publisher Daedalic Entertainment has revealed.
The German publisher will port the first chapter in the 2012 point-and-click adventure series, described as a "fast-paced comedy of errors", to non-PC platforms this summer.
"Deponia is our biggest adventure game franchise so far," PR director Claas Wolter told Digital Spy at GDC 2014.
"This is why we think it's the most attractive game, from the story and the setting, it's what works best on other platforms as well."
Discussing the reason for the delayed release outside of PC, Wolter said it was due to "technological and team history", with a PC-only engine that has required an external developer to help bring it over to console.
The market was also important: "We know how the PC market for adventure games work, and on the other hand, we know adventure games on consoles can be very tricky."
