I had the chance to talk with the lead developer for the indie game Survivalist. He was a very nice guy with a fresh way of viewing programming.
The zombie survival genre has been done to death of late, with a new living undead related title appearing almost weekly following the success of games such as DayZ. However, while the market may be flooded, occasionally a new game will come along that takes a different approach to the zombie survival genre, refreshing what is quickly becoming a tired category of game.

Dying Light, COD BO3? I have Dying Light on PS4 and it would atleast make a top ten list for the year. Treyarch will knock zombies out of the park like they did with WAW,BO1, and BO2.
Dying Light was a consideration, but in the end I decided against it simply because to me it felt more like a DLC for Dead Island than a standalone game and I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped I would have
