Yesterday, AMD teased their upcoming Radeon R9 295X2 graphics card featuring Dual Hawaii cores by sending out Polaroid pictures to reviewers of different tech sites with a ‘Two is better than one’ tagline. I really don't get the housefire joke.

GPUs can handle temps of over 100C without much of a problem, AMD decided that they would clock higher their chips and trade it with more heat.

If you take a look a custom air cooler, they are as cool as 780's of this world.

I mean, we've seen worst with the 480 anyway. The only thing that kills those cards is the price because of miners. At release before inflation it was THE card to get.
