As Sony’s PlayStation and Sega’s Saturn gobbled up the headlines, the follow up to all-time classic Super Mario World delighted reviewers, but failing to sell quite as many copies as it deserved to (although 4 million was far from a poor return in those days). Nineteen years, one GBA port and one DS sequel later, and the game makes a long-awaited return for Nintendo, landing on the 3DS courtesy of developer Arzest, but how does it measure up to that timeless original?"
