DJ Killzown Jones of RGN writes, "Awesomenauts Assemble is a 2D side-scrolling MOBA game from Romino Games & Abstraction Games.for the Playstation 4. This game is a re-release of the 2012 original “Awesomenauts”. Whenever evil forces need to be defeated and there is coin to be had the Awesomenauts answer the call. In AA players can take control of the Nauts or the opposing faction to take out the other teams Solar Collector or their home base. The teams need to have their Solar Collector in working condition to complete their contracts so who ever destroys the other teams home base wins.
The Awesomenauts have a lot of members but only three can step on to the battlefield at a time and will have the help of base drones as well as turrets to help you break the opposing squad defenses each with their own abilities and skills. In true MOBA style there are unlimited lives and the games resources (money and health) are gained on the battlefield. When the player first spawns or when they die they will be dispatched on to the level via a drop ship. The Nauts can purchase new abilities and upgrades on the field with the money they collect from dropping in to battle, collecting throughout the world and vanquishing the enemy."
