A game which could be coming to Xbox One Wii U and PS4 if the funding target is met. A game that really does need some support because it looks rather special.

I really want this game to succeed. It looks like minecraft except with even more quests, creativity, and freedom. Imagine- building your own vehicles to explore an entire planet!

Today Cubical Drift are excited to reveal that Planets³ is now called Stellar Overload! Stellar Overload's adventures take place in a universe that consists entirely of 25cm³ blocks. The blocks can be combined in a variety of ways to build beautiful objects, elegant structures and landscape elements of all shapes and sizes.

I have to agree that Planets³ sounded really good when you said it, then again. "Stellar Overload" sounds pretty massive (kind of like Dooms "BFG2000"). Yep, I will try the alpha during the weekend actually ;)

Ah, Planets³. I still remember that game. Funny, I always wondered whatever happened to that game. Now I know =)

Planets³ Update #48 Brings Multiplayer

As of Update #48, Cubical Drift have introduced multiplayer support within the alpha, along with a slew of optimisations. The dedicated server (64bit only) is available to download now, so you can host for you and your original backer friends, although functionality and customisation is extremely limited. The dedicated server will eventually be developed more intricately.
