Avoiderdragon: Motorsports have always been a source of inspiration for video games, mostly from actual motorsports or Fast and Furious style racers. One of the former is the World Rally Championship, which is known for high speed off-road racing on dirt and gravel with Scandinavian flicks and powerslides, and quite a few games have tried to capture that with mixed results. The better ones have given us stuff like the DiRT series, and it’s not bound to stop just yet. For those who are less serious about racing games but do like some speed, here is WRC Powerslide.

In other news, an error on the part of Xbox Live customers caused them to download and play Dark, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes and WRC Powerslide. Victims of this error suffered side effects ranging from disappointment to unconsciousness. Police as yet have no theories.
