The first Cut the Rope is one of the most memorable games in the App Store, and its simple, clever premise has inspired many other puzzle games. To put out a true sequel to the game, ZeptoLabs had to come up with new spins on the Cut the Rope concept. They rose to the challenge, and the result is Cut the Rope 2, a game every bit as playable as the original.
Russian video game developer ZeptoLab announced that its new action and Battle Royale game Bullet Echo is now available for Android and iOS.
ZeptoLab has been working with a startup called Gondola to test dynamic pricing in its Cut the Rope games, where the value of each in-game purchase is automatically tailored to the individual player.
Gondola and Scientific Revenue are sleazy douchbags for coming up with such an exploitative scheme but ZeptoLab are even more vile douchebags for actually deploying it. Any game dev who does deserves to have all their content blacklisted.
Johnny at BagoGames writes:"I am an animal lover; I love taking care of cats, dogs, horses, and Tamagotchis. Whether an animal needs food, a bath, or wants to play, I am there to help. This why I feel compelled to help Om Nom in Cut The Rope 2. This little green creature is hungry, but of all his food has been tied up with ropes. I have no idea who the villain is that has caused Om Nom these troubles — all I know is that there is only one solution to the problem: Cut all the ropes!"
