I’ve mentioned before that I won’t often pick up a game without knowing some things about it, but recently Twinfinite’s stockpile has been growing pretty large so I’ve snagged a couple without my requisite research. Among these was the puzzle-platformer Home Sheep Home 2. I’d never heard of this title or it’s predecessor, but it sounded like something that might be fun and possibly even appropriate for my six-year-old. Imagine my delight, then, when I fired this up and was greeted with the familiar theme music to the British children’s show Shaun the Sheep, a staple in our household already!
GodisaGeek: "It’s that time of the week again, and by “that time of the week” I mean the beginning. If you’re stopping off at GodisaGeek.com this fine Monday afternoon then, first of all, thanks for visiting. I hope you like your stay. How about playing some games in our new ‘Play Now‘ section. How about some games that you can take with you? Providing you’ve got an iOS device of course."
Touch Arcade: Normally, I would say "another day, another Chillingo physics puzzle game" as the developer pumps out these high quality iOS titles like it's nothing, but then I had to take a moment to stop. After all, Home Sheep Home 2 [$0.99] is not just any puzzler, it's a puzzler starring Shaun the Sheep from the Wallace & Gromit series, and if you have no idea what that is get off this website right now and go find out. It's that good, and I don't throw such idle threats around lightly.
Shaun the Sheep‘s BAFTA-nominated puzzle game is back for a second adventure, with Home Sheep Home 2 available for iOS devices now. Developed by Mobile Pie, Home Sheep Home 2 retains the simple controls and tricky puzzles that made the first game so popular.
