A sports video game fan who purchases Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, Madden NFL, NHL, FIFA, and NBA LIVE—what I refer to as EA SPORTS’ “cornerstone” titles—in a single calendar year spends $299.95 on just those games alone; nevermind the purchases of games from other developers like MLB The Show, NBA 2K, and Pro Evolution Soccer, or less regular EA SPORTS releases like FIFA World Cup, SSX, EA SPORTS UFC, FIGHT NIGHT, Grand Slam Tennis, and digital titles like NBA JAM and NFL BLITZ.
