The LEGO Movie Videogame 3DS, Vita Review | IGN

IGN :

"Somewhere along the line, LEGO games on portables got really small. Older LEGO adventures on DS and PSP at least tried to recreate the large-scale action and exploration of their console big brothers, but more recent installments (like LEGO Marvel Superheroes) have streamlined the gameplay to the point where the portables feel like they’re getting a plastic brick shaft. The LEGO Movie Videogame on PS Vita and 3DS is no exception: its stripped-down gameplay and focus on bite-sized levels and timed achievements make it feel like a rushed, lesser version of the console experience."

Hmm, actually 3 of the earlier LEGO games (LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, LEGO Indiana Jones & LEGO Batman) on the PSP were exact duplicates of the big brother console versions. It was only the later LEGO games starting with LEGO Indy 2 and LEGO HP 1 that the PSP and later Vita, got these crappy condensed LEGO "games".

If you have a console, get 'The LEGO Movie Videogame' on that instead.

its a shame too because 98% of ports on the vita are full-length duplicates of its console counterpart. idk about 3ds but i assume the same.
