Junkie Monkeys: Developers for popular titles such as Castle Crashers and Battleblock Theater, The Behemoth, have recently announced that they are currently developing something for the Xbox One along with 200+ developers.
No PC, PS4, or Wii U? That's unfortunate, I enjoyed Castle Crashers. Curious to see what they come up with next.
Oh well....there loss really.
Yeah Its "there loss" whenever MS gains something. But whenever MS misses out on something its. "MS is not for the gamer." MS can't have any sort positive credit no matter what.
It's probably just an arcade title anyway...
It's actually PS4's loss.
@AngelicIceDiamond Keep your tin foil hat on their buddy @maniacmayhem Yeah ok then...it's the PS4's loss when they already have a ton of indie developers working on the system and it's selling more units then Microsoft increasing the games audience....which means more money for the studio. It's really their loss.
@Trot Xbox One is selling faster and more than the 360 did. And in case you missed the article, a whole lot of indies just signed up for the [email protected] http://news.xbox.com/2014/0... The Wii sold more units, did that increase the game audience? 360 was released first and had a bigger install base, did that stop Konami from releasing MGS4 for PS3? I love this new argument that since the PS4 is now selling very well every dev is stupid to make a game only for the other systems. No Fox, it's really not their loss.
Fanboy or not, less possible clients equals lower sales. Sony could have approached them, but it seems that behemoth relations with microsoft is really good.
The Behemoth seem to favor development on Xbox for some reason. It was a slap in the face when I saw that Hatty from Battleblock Theater was a DLC character for Castle Crashers on PSN. Note: Battleblock Theater is only on Xbox 360 currently.
@Snookies that is unfortunate I have to say but 200+ devs for an indie? That's a bit overkill what the hell could it be?
He is talking about the list of indie studios which ms announced earlier,it had 200+ indie studios confirmed to be working on xbox one games. They are simply saying they are lucky to be among the 200+ indie devs working on unanounced projects for xbx one.
The comment is very vague and can be seen in both ways. Just because they say they are making an Xbox One game doesn't automatically assume it is exclusive. The worms developer said they are working on a game for Xbox and they announced a Worms game for PS4 and Xbox One.
is it me or are we hearing more and more stories about games being developed for xboxone. i feel like ms is feeling the pressure to put out games
What money? This is an independent studio just taking advantage of the [email protected] program. No money involved whatsoever so you can go ahead and shove that nonsense back where you pulled it out from.
Because any dev working on ps4 is getting paid in flowers and chocolates.
Why do you guys have to be complete dicks about everything? I wasn't talking about Microsoft paying developers. I was talking about people choosing to buy more PS4's than XBO's. Microsoft has improved developer relations significantly since E3.
LOVE LOVE LOVE their games. each one was better than the previous IMO.
awesome looking forward to it
Great developer. I hope we see it on PS4 or PC at some point. I'd love to play it.
Didnt they make alien hominid? Would freakin kill for a sequel to that. Classic.
Can't wait, love Castle Crasher. The Indies support on XB1 is in full steam now just like it was on the early days of the X360.
Castle Crashers is one of those games where the mechanic is nothing new and so simple but the execution, controls and great fun design just shines through completely. Alien Hominid, Battle Block Theater are also great games and you can tell these guys just love making arcade games. It comes through in the humor and feel of all their games. Lets hope we get a Castle Crashers 2.
If it was just announced, let it ride, we haven't even seen it yet.
OH MY GOD!!! CASTLE CRASHERS 2 PLEASE!
