still haven't finished it yet, only 38% in...wonderful game tho.My ship is becoming quite the mother#[email protected][email protected]!. Ramming enemy vessels and taking half their life bars is always fun.

I agree it has been fun, but I find the setting of sailing somewhat ridiculous. For something into which they put so much effort they have not followed through. Leaving a fortress to see 8 ships sailing around in circles is a wasted opportunity.

Think about it. How fun would it be if as soon as you stepped onto land there were 10 assassination targets walking around in circles. No pursuit, no planning, no real skill. Oh look, it's the entire Spanish Armada within 1000 yards of one another. Board the ship kill 15 crewmen and kill the captain or kill 15 and the 2 lookouts...every time. It gets old quickly.

And as you said once your ship is upgraded sufficiently even Legendary ships get a beatdown. Instead of having to sneak into a fortress or building to gain info on shipping lanes, routes, and dates it's simply a matter of heading south and laying into them. Too easy. They could have done a much better job of linking land missions with sea encounters.

I loved AC2, brotherhood was good, after that ehhhh.

AC3 was garbage, but AC4 was an amazing game and completely redeemed the series for me at least.

* They should split the series in two though.

* There are about 100 other stories to tell in this setting and all of them could be mysterious and interesting.

I've just got this on P.S.4 I can tell you this is fantastic game and well worth the money

last gen versions although same content struggle, it seems too big in scope for P.S.360 , but on P.S.4/one it's a completely different experience

highly recommended, need to upgrade ship, the sailing would pass for a game on its own imo

Yeah, it runs at a nice very solid 30fps on PS4. It looks great too. Probably one of the most impressive looking next gen games so far.
