KOTOR is still today one of the most popular Star Wars games ever made and the irony of it is that when it was first announced, many people questioned the fact that Star Wars would make an RPG and that it would be any good. Imagine the surprise once fans got to check out this amazing game?
Once work wrapped on KoTOR 2, Obsidian was ready to make a third game in the acclaimed RPG series. Unfortunately, it never came to pass, but here’s what was planned, according to one of the writers.
It truly is sad that KOTOR III never happened and these days if EA approved it I wouldn't want it either. It is a shame one of the most requested games won't ever come out and if it did you sadly know it wouldn't be good.
Obsidian Entertainment, the developers of the critically acclaimed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, 'would love' to create a sequel for the game, it has today confirmed.
Next Fallout pls, I loved New Vegas, minus the bugs of course but platinumed regardless of issues and it didnt ruin my experience, just a hindrance. But the detail they put in it was worth the bugs and after that do KoTOR 3 :D
Please KOTOR 3...I'd sell my kidney for this, especially if it's from Obsidian and not what has become of Bioware,
Rudolf van Wyk writes: "It’s been over a decade since the initial release of the critically acclaimed Knights of the Old Republic, a Star Wars masterpiece developed by BioWare. Since then, the strong replayability element of the game has continually pulled in even more geeks and gamers like a tractor beam. With its nearly flawless mechanics and revolutionary concept at the time, many RPG titles still don’t come close to its grandeur."
Hope they have spoken to Disney?
EA might have a problem with this since they have exclusive SW game rights for console/pc
Those star wars games were some of the best gaming of my life. Thank God someone grew some balls and started making SWTKOR3
EA is always worried about money right? so why dont they make KOTOR 3 they would sell crazy amounts of that game!
