I love how GW2 handles grouping. Having started playing early-ish MMO's, you come to learn that jumping in and helping someone with a group mobs isn't really a good thing unless you group up first. So generally you steer clear (at least that's what I do) of other players in PVE.
But in GW2 all that is gone. You feel free to jump in and help with out worrying about kill stealing. As long as you contribute, you are rewarded. No matter what level you are you will always be challenged, even in starting areas. You are completely free to go and help your lowbie friend, still progress, and be rewarded.
I never really appreciated how GW2 works as an MMO until I recently started SWTOR. All the hassles of the traditional MMOs are back, at a premium too.
GW2 is an insult to Guild Wars. You have forgotten what made Guild Wars 1 great. The PVP.
GW2 has no pvp, patches takes years for PVP, no balanced no content no bug fixes for PVP. Not even GvG or HA or RA for PVP.
Not even BODY BLOCKING in PVP.
