Recently leaked documents pointed to Microsoft rejecting the next game from Madrid-based developers Tequila Works. Gamereactor reached out for a comment. In response, the Madrid based studio doesn't seem particularly uncomfortable or alarmed by the appearance of these documents, nor by a change of partner that, in fact, they openly admitted long ago. While they do not usually comment on rumors, one of its members wanted to clarify that "in their [MS] defense, it has to be said that they didn't passed on it at first; project had been greenlighted and only when Xbox One plans made public and project couldn't adapt, it was decided not to carry on and we moved it with other publishers".
Fanatical just launched a new bundle that supports Safe in Our World. All of the proceeds go to charity to support mental health awareness.

The Nintendo Switch gets bombarded with many, many ports. But most of them actually run pretty well, with only a couple that we would call bad Switch ports.
While I agree with the majority on this list Bloodstained is far from a bad port. Sure it doesn't run as fast as the other more powerful machines and has some sacrifices made to the graphics to keep the game running smooth. But some of the errors that are being mentioned can be patched and addressed. The game is still fun to play, it's not like it's broken or anything.
Ark should have never been released the way it is on the Switch. The game is so so bad.
It's purely down to the incompetence of the Devs. Just go and look at how more demanding games have successfully been ported to Switch and then you have proof that these are just poorly done.

Bit of luck then that the latest Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale is kicking into play, with bargains galore hitting the Xbox Store to ensure Xbox 360 and Xbox One titles can be had on cut-price terms. But what games are being slashed in price between the 2nd-8th July 2019?"
In other words, MS wanted the main character to have a gun and shoot things but the devs said 'No'.
The way it's worded it seems it may have been the DRM scheme or something like that which made them jump ship.
Saying Microsoft wanted to corrupt your creative vision to appeal to a hypothetical demographic is not a defence.
Interesting story...but Rime has still to show all its supposed value. Ms did not reject The Last of Us...
It's a shame… But honestly, it seems like XO's original policies would've acted in these guys' favor rather than drive them away (which it seems to have done)… Granted, they probably won't be shipping a retail copy of Rime, so the used games thing wouldn't've been an issue, but perhaps they didn't like the idea of "Families" being able to share everything with each other?
Idk, but whatever it was, it's a shame. This game looks awesome. Sad I won't be playing it on my XO.
