Three SquareEnix characters likely to appear in Kingdom Hearts III (and four that likely won’t)

Man, that would be the best. Sadly, I think the closest we'll get already happened in KH3D, when Traverse Town had the Fourth District styled like TWEWY's Shibuya. They seem to have made Radiant Garden the general "Final Fantasy people live here" world. But hey, we can dream!

Exactly, its just a hub world from them. Although I think I'm content with the fact that KH3 is in development and that were getting 2.5. So I can't complain really with what ever they put into it for now.

Hollow Bastion/Radiant Gardens was suppose to be exactly that.

I've been wanting Final Fantasy worlds since the first Kingdom Hearts. Hope they give us something. Just as long as it's not a Final Fantasy XIII world. -_- I'm fine with the games, but it's way too overdone at this point.

It did, but I wish it were more. y'know. FF-themed? Crystals, chocobo etc. Maybe a secret boss called Ultima Weapon?

After all this FFXIII related stuff, I'd be very surprised if Lightning wasn't in the next Kingdom Hearts game. Also...

Lightning seems obvious. surprised about Terra on the list. I wanna say Noctis or a reference to FFXV will be in there.

Yeah, I highly doubt Terra will be a part of it. As much as I love her in FFVI. I'd agree that Noctis will probably make an appearance in some form. Even if it's just as a promotion of XV.

FFVI characters would fit perfectly in the world Kingdom Hearts. Kefka and Edgar would be a pleasant sutprise. More Setzer would be great too.

I hope most return from previous games as well as some new characters I really liked Sazh and I think they could make him a pretty sick KH design, Fang would be pretty neat as well though if they have appear she would be along side Vanille. I know shoot me down nut I would be fine with a small appearance by Lightning. I actually liked Noctus and there are not many villains from FF in KH.

I wish I had more to add since BBS but most have already been in the games and if they did have FFXIII characters it better me minimal like FFX and X2 characters. Though have many FF characters prior to 7 pretty much been ignored in KH, maybe they could bring some older classic characters because some people would probably love to see some 3D high res models of some of their fav characters?

Doesn't sony own some of the rights to final fantasy 7 , 8 , 9 and is the reason kingdom hearts 2.5 remix isnt getting an xbox release and kh3 is on the xbone so its unlikely to see any characters from those games!

No, Sony doesn't own the rights to any of those games. That's why they are also on PC and characters from those games showed upon Kingdom Hearts Recoded for DS.

Only thing Sony had a hand was publishing those games in the west.

Which is again WHY THE XBOX IS NOT GETTING EITHER of the Kingdom Hearts collections.....Sony still has those publishing rights...Do you think they give a rats ass if it gets put on PC NO...Would they care if it got put on their direct competitors console YES

It has absolutely nothing to do with characters that appear in the game, IT IS THE GAMES THEMSELVES

Actually, Square Enix doesn't need Sony to publish it. It was on PC because Square Enix got someone else to publish it, obviously Sony was only going to publish it for PlayStation. If they wanted those characters on Xbox, all they would have to do is publish the game themselves, as they do in Japan (Sony only publishes the games in Europe and NA) or get another publisher for the port. What platform the games and/or characters are on is not up to Sony.

Should have been more specific. The only hand Sony had in it was publishing it in Europe and NA on their own console.

Both collections were published by Square Enix themselves. Sony didn't have anything to do with either one. As a matter of fact, the first two games were also published by Square Enix and Disney Interactive. Sony never owned any kind of publishing rights to Kingdom Hearts.
