No game blew my mind last year, though if I had choose anything it would maybe be the opening of Infinite because it was just jawdropping gorgeous on PC. There are only two things that can blow my mind and that is visuals/atmosphere and unique fresh gameplay which seems to be hard to accomplish these days

Now that you mention MGS I have to agree with you a little bit, though IMO TLOU was nothing special other characters and writing which were superb (though not mindblowing because there have been plenty of other games that blew me away in those aspects already)and Uncharted 2 is great a action game but that does relate to gameplay (IMO it was not anything mindblowing because I found the first mindblowing enough especially with the whole scifi twist).

yeah the first was good, i honestly thought the sifi twist to be exciting and mind Bending, not mind blowing for me tho. in #2 the action, gameplay, story; it was one of the best interactive action movies ive ever experienced. overall uncharted2 blew most gamers away, and the industry sky-high. #1 was great n all, just not nearly a big of an impact as #2.

same for TLoU, the package was epic. right now its like the pinnacle of the industry for the majority whove played it. the dlc was great too. tlou was nothing innovative, but its was truly something special and the best bang that ended last gen imo.

MGS4, man, that was more than a game for me personally...

Why are you so bothered by the disagrees? I get ton but. Don really care. Not everyone will agree with you. If one thousand people claim something is true, there will be at least one that will disagree.

I voted last of us too, but AC 4 was also great. TLOU had such a compelling story and twist, IMO.

The Last of us was mind blowing to me it had great graphic's and a great story gameplay was even great and intense and metal gear solid 4 wasn't all that to me it looks the same as the other metal gears solid games and this is just my opinion.
