GG3 takes a look at Steam tags and sees it's already showing cracks. Every Call of Duty is "garbage?" Bioshock and Fallout are "overrated?" Those cracks could be worked out during the new program's Beta period, but it goes further than just that.
As for this issue, i think it's fine. There are some very interesting tags going around. Tags based on themes (nanomachines, war, post-war, etc etc).
I think this will make my game searching a bit more streamlined.
I don't think it's ruined at all, only a minority are misusing it. But it's hardly annoying. So many people are using ti right, that it already works pretty darn well.
I hope Valve doesn't change this at all. I am glad to see gamers being able to tag products based on what they actually think as oppose to some corporate message. I am so sick and tired of people trying to lessen how bad something is to gamers because they want to stay in the good graces of a company. The gaming media is suppose to be about providing information and truthful content to their consumers, not about being overly fair to a corporation.
This is what happens when you give stupid people (which are the majority) too much control over your contents. They'll keep showing their stupidity and trolling skills nonstop.
git gud or die tryin has the best gaems.

lol I can imagine some poor 12 year old buying it thinking it's easy =P
It's not ruined if it's the truth.
I find myself amused by this
so... fez is overrated garbage? it shows up in both the "overrated", and "garbage" images.
