The guests for this year’s BitSummit have been announced, and one in particular has caught our metaphorical eye: Luke Crane, of Kickstarter.
Crane is the project specialist for games at Kickstarter (he’s even funded a project of his own using the site in the form of dungeon crawler Torchbearer), and he’ll be delivering a talk on how games can successfully compete for funding on the site.
Crane joins several other guests for this celebration of Japanese indie gaming, including Takumi Naramura, who is currently involved in his own Kickstarter campaign for La Mulana 2, industry veteran Tetsuya ‘Space Channel 5‘ Mizuguchi, John Baez (of Castle Crashers fame), Hiroki Omae, the vice president of Unity Japan, and many more. There will also be a number of musical guests — among them SEGA veteran Takeyuki Nakamura and UK artist Chipzel.
