Segmentnext picks up on some strange PC news. In the third annual MMO Hall of Fame induction ceremony, five games were selected. Some of those are decided by the very people who created them.
After 20 years of ongoing service, the original Guild Wars still makes good on a promise it made that no other MMORPG has been able to truly mimic.
Been there since day 1, and the first beta, same with GW2. 20 years and they never said oh now we need to charge a monthly fee, and they only made Guild Wars no other games. I'm going to assume GW3 will have the same business model.

"Each committee member selects 10 games they feel have set standards in the gaming field. The lists of nominees are forwarded to the Hall of Fame and tallied by the curator. Any games receiving 60 percent of the votes become automatic inductees."
That doesn't necessarily mean that the developer voted on his own game then. I mean, it's highly unlikely that he didn't vote on it, but there isn't any real proof here, just an accusation.
