Earlier this week, Nintendo revealed a giant list of Wii U and 3DS indie games releasing in the next three months. One of the titles on the list was Squids Odyssey by first-time Nintendo developers, The Game Bakers. The game was originally announced for the Wii U and 3DS back in August during an indie-centric Nintendo Direct, but we hadn’t heard much about the game since, so Nintendo Enthusiast decided to get in touch with Director Audrey Leprince (Tom Clancy’s EndWar) to find out more.
The tactical RPG 'Squids Odyssey' is now available for PC via Steam courtesy of French indie game studio, The Game Bakers.
Part tactical RPG, part Peggle, part Bust-A-Move. Squids Odyssey is an amalgamation of different game types, which essentially adds a puzzle like element to a regular RPG battle system. Squids Odyssey is a well polished game which will now, hopefully, be played by a larger audience.
'Squids Odyssey' is not quite a whale of a tale, but it's still a fun squid-launching RPG.
