The creative director of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has revealed that Enguarde almost made it into the game.
I'm glad they didn't. I heard he was asking for way too much money to reprise his role as a mascot. Which is ludicrous since everybody knows Rambi is the real star here. Enguarde is just a second stinger at best.
The audacity of this fish! SHAME!!!

Retro's talents wasted on a template created in the early 90s.
I cant wait for this game missed DK on the Wii so cant wait for this on the WiiU.
I like this magazine, i was buying it in the very past years....86% means that the game is a must buy. And if you have not a Wii U then the console is a must buy too....
the wii game is a masterpiece, this looks even better
Looking forward to this game, but now can we have Retro work on a fully rendered 3D game. I have had enough Great 2D platformers the past 4 years. NSMB/NSMBWii U /Luigi, Rayman, Donkey Kong. Let the Indies do the 2D and let Great Studios Like Retro(not that indies are not great, but you know what I mean) work on the big guns.
I want a platformer that I can openly EXPLORE.
