Cancer Research UK has launched a free smartphone game that will use your path through levels to help analyse medical data.
Isn't this what was once on the PS3? I believe it was called Folding@home? Great Idea and well worth participating.
I am actually surprised more research/problems ect aren't done by trying this approach of course it would have to be on a case by case basis.
Tedtalks described something similar albeit not cancer research i believe a yr or 2 ago. Why not put those idle minds to some problem solving use.
