LOL

Sneaky. They want people to buy an Xbox One to play it....

smoothop3725d ago

Wise of them to do that, Titanfall will shift a lot of Xbox One's.

4Sh0w3725d ago (Edited 3725d ago )

Yeah its great that they are making Titanfall available to 360 owners for continued support. I hardly doubt 2 weeks is enough to make you spend $500 if you don't have the money or don't want an X1 anytime soon. Those who were on the fence but it was just a matter of "when not if", might be ready to join us next gen X1 owners a little sooner now. That's a good thing, besides the 360 version is not being dev'd by Respawn so it's easy to believe they are behind both in regards to quality and time.

Bundi3725d ago

Yup, because that is what I always do whenever a game is postponed by 2 whole weeks, I buy a $500 console to play it because the 14 day wait will kill me.../s

Axios23725d ago

Supply and demand

X1 has over 4 times the pre orders of the 360 and the gap will only get bigger

4ShotKing3725d ago (Edited 3725d ago )

Well at least they didn't delay the PC version the version I'm picking up, that would of created a shitstorm.

snookiegamer3725d ago

I'd like to see how it looks on 360, is there any footage about?

Beeker3725d ago

Wise of them to do that? Maybe, but not right to crap all over the die hards who haven't bought xbox one yet. The game should sell better on 360 anyways... install base

mhunterjr3725d ago (Edited 3725d ago )

The hyperbole...

They aren't 'crapping' over anyone. They are just positioning the new console...
If waiting a few weeks for a game makes someone feel 'crapped' on, they need to evaluate their life.

creatchee3725d ago

The preorders say otherwise - it's currently like 250,000 to 50,000 in favor of the X1 version.

jmac533725d ago

I am pretty sure most are holding off to see what the quality of the 360 version will be like. We haven't seen a thing about it. Once people's minds are at ease that it is a quality port, the pre-orders will pick up.

Eonjay3725d ago (Edited 3725d ago )

LOL. Wow! That is a very interesting move. I don't know what to make of it. They are doing everything in their power to help push the Xbox One. Well, its still coming on PC.

MajorMayhem703725d ago

As opposed to not pushing your new console. The whole point for the next few years is to push sales of your console. Do you think that Sony is content with their lead that they are not going to continue to push PS4 sales? I apologize if your a kid, cause maybe you still don't understand the basic principle of how companies make money.

Eonjay3725d ago

You missed the point. Its about sales. Sure it will push the Xbox One, but what about the game itself?

MajorMayhem703725d ago

We'll just have to wait n see. I really think the game is going to do fine.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad588d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g587d ago (Edited 587d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."

Physical media. Unfortunately the way games are going these days game servers will eventually be shut down and you can stare at the menu and wish you could play the game again.

littletad868d ago

This is why reading is so important. Nothing to do with digital or physical media. The game, which is online only, is being delisted because of DDOS and other hacker attacks. The case got so bad that only six players in the world log on. For PC. Rather than fix it, they continued to sell the game, broken as it is, and only now just decided to call it quits. But please, go on thinking what you will.

Ethereal867d ago

I'm aware of the DDOS attacks and that this case is not typical. This game would eventually have it's servers shutdown regardless of the current situation so that is a moot point. My comment was in a general sense and that there are instances in which games can be preserved physically when official support ends.

Let's recap your first sentence. I said, "the way GAMES are going these days" indicating a broader stroke than just this game. I agree, reading IS important. I was simply stating the obvious downsides of the digital marketplaces and online only trends in games these days. I could even make the argument that the online only offering which has allowed hacker manipulation has impacted the preservation of this great game. My comment is valid in the general sense and thank you for your permission to continue to think what I will.
