500k The Elder Scrolls Beta Keys Available Only At Curse

Curse has partnered exclusively with Bethesda and Zenimax to bring you 500,000 beta keys for their new MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online. The beta key giveaway will be performed in two rounds:

Round 1: February 4th and 5th. Beta keys available for Curse Premium subscribers.
Round 2: February 6th to 10th. Beta keys are available to everyone with a Curse account.

All you need to do is sign up for a Curse account and claim your key!

Looking forward to it but have a feeling servers will be taking a hit so not expecting too smooth of an experience. Then again that's the point and in the end will just help make launch that much better.

Does any one know when the xbox one beta starts or how to sign up? Do I use this link cus I didn't c where I had a choice to choose what platform I wanted to sign up for. So I assumed it was just for PC/Mac

No word on when the console beta will start, but when it does, it will be on PS4 first. So when they finally announce a date for that, expect the X1 Beta afterwards.

I'm assuming this is for stressing their servers, because getting accepted for the beta is about as hard as getting into Chuck E. Cheese. Back when I was interested in playing this, I signed up for the beta, and I've gotten dozens of emails since practically begging me to join in on the game.

Once it's free to play on PS4 I'll be happy to give it a go, but my gaming budget this year simply doesn't have room for an Elder Scrolls that I have to pay full price full as well as a fee each month. Too many good games coming out that the money could go towards instead.

Am in the Beta tomorrow. Was in the beta last month as well. Really enjoyed what I played. Will be getting it on PS4 though.

don't be surprised if this never comes out for ps4/xbox1

this game was made for pc, the ps4 and xbox1 versions are an afterthought

they will look, run, and perform like crap

expect major delays on them

comes out on pc in 2 months, consoles "supposedly" in june

but I bet it will get pushed back over and over again

ps4 and xbox1 cannot even handle bf4 with 720p-900p resolutions jaggies everywhere and less than 64 players causing constant crashing and disconnects

Skyrim sold large numbers on consoles and I doubt they would cut out the potential sales of that large base. Especially since the creators of this game have made it clear that they want to make money with this game.

what will the attach rate be, all I have heard is console gamers crying about subscription costs

so maybe they'll get another million sales

Easy guy. No need for PC elitism here. GTA 5 sold very well despite never touching PC (yet).
They will most definitely be bringing this to consoles. And quite frankly, I would rather play my modded Skyrim for a while yet anyways. Online Subscription really sours me on this game.

You do realize install bases grow, right? The consoles just came out and as the install bases grow, they will get more subscribers. It's simple math.

It might not make it to consoles, or it might..... like all the other MMOs that did.
