Moon Chronicles Gets a Debut Trailer

Hardcore Gamer: It's hard to get an idea of how it will look on the 3DS itself, as this trailer is super low res for whatever reason, but it's looking promising in these early stages.

Hopefully does good. 3DS doesn't have many FPS games.

Oh is this the sequel to Moon on the DS?? Cool if so, but it's a shame that it's a darn eshop game. Also it looks very similar to the original game which makes me think this is some kind of port...

EDIT: Scratch that. It's an "episodic remake" of the original. Count me out.

yes its remake of Moon on DS, but later episodes are like sequel, plus they gonna be much much cheaper, I think for each episode (after remake) gonna be 2 or 3 dollars, so I guess its a fair price

i loved moon, and this is an upgraded remake but full game. the other episodes come after. i think its a great idea. i always thought the original moon had a bad ending but now i see it was simply a cliffhanger ending. cant wait to see what happens next

cant wait, like always, renegade kid knows how to push visuals, like they did with DS Dementium and Moon DS

Moon Chronicles Episode 2, 3 and 4 Review for 3DS - A Moon Worth Visiting | Nintendo Enthusiast

Moon Chronicles is a remake of the original game, Moon, which came out on the DS as a retail title. Developer Renegade Kid remade the game to harness the 3DS's additional power and 3D effects, and released Moon Chronicles Episode 1, which we reviewed for launch. While we felt the game was good, Episode 1 was way too short, and the score suffered a little from that. Renegade Kid decided to release the remaining episodes all at once, which now gives us the complete package, for a very reasonable price of $8.99 total, depending on whether you get the Season Pass. So how does the remainder of the game stack up?

Make it a (Virtual) Reality: Moon Chronicles

VRFocus - Next week sees the launch of the New Nintendo 3DS, a updated version of the popular handheld system that packs in new control options, upgraded 3D capabilities and improved processing. With it comes something of a revival in content for the platform, with a large number of titles planned for release over the next few months. However just ahead of the system’s launch comes the remainder of Moon Chronicles, an episodic first-person shooter (FPS) series that remakes the original Moon on DS from Renegade Kid. It may seem strange to pick a handheld title for VRFocus’ ‘Make it a (Virtual) Reality’ series, but take one look at Moon Chronicles and it’s clear to see that the title is ripe for a VR adaption.

Moon Chronicles would look pretty cool in VR.
