"Will Dragon Age: Inquisition Have Multiplayer? BioWare Survey Suggests Yes"

iGR Dylan Zellmer reports "BioWare has begun seeking out playtesters for Dragon Age: Inquisition. As such, they’ve sent a survey out to gather a variety of different folks to test the game. It’s stated that gamers don’t need to have experience playing Dragon Age to apply, possibly indicating that DAI can act as a stand alone installment."

If it's Mass Effect 3 style multiplayer I'd be game, but it didn't keep me coming back for long.

Hmmm, if it's handled right like Mass Effect 3 i'm in, and by handle i mean a year of free DLC support. That's what really made me come back for more.

Lord_Sloth3726d ago

I had some fun with ME3's multiplayer but want to use my own Inquisiter in DAI. I'd prefer missions with a co-op basis but won't mind a Horde Mode in a sword and sorcery game.

-Foxtrot3726d ago

Whats the point, Mass Effect 3s was average as best and didn't keep you comimg back. Just focus on the single player Bioware, you failed to do that in ME3 because of the online and look whay happened. The ending, bugs, cut content like the Omega DLC

CrossingEden3726d ago

You do realize that two different Bioware teams worked on the single player and multiplayer right? And that a game having multiplayer most of the time has absolutely no effect on the single player because the multiplayer teams are a complete different set of people. Stop trying to stifle their creativity.

-Foxtrot3726d ago (Edited 3726d ago )

That makes no bloody sense

They wasted money on a second team when they delayed the game because of the ending, if they had got that second team to help finish off Omega and help make a better, not slap and dash ending INSTEAD of wasting resources on getting them to do the multiplayer when they knew they were having issues then we would of gotten a better game

So yeah it did make a difference, your not that stupid, you just want to start an argument.

Jesus christ the disagrees are depressing, we moan on about single player games dying then people want a tacked on online...after what happenee to the single player in ME3

InTheLab3726d ago

And here's the point where Bioware burns up all that good will they've amassed since E3....

anticlimax3725d ago

I need a response from Bioware denying even a whisper of MP in this game. Next thing you know they'll ask you to connect your game through facebook.

Make a great single-player game and leave all the MP, online or MMo features to other IP's. They better not waste a dime or delay the game a second for something like that.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02903d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007903d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation903d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus903d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
