That means they are not popular enough.

DragonDDark3351d ago

No.. the game is called "Obscure"

DarkOcelet3351d ago

You never heard of it?

Obscure is awesome, it has the style of gameplay of Resident Evil.

If you are a fan of the old school Resident Evil then you should play both Obscure 1 and Obscure 2.

They are so cliched as they get but so cool too lol.

No xD
I'm saying that obscure is an obscure game lol

I played Obscure 1 and 2 and I loved them.

Eternal Darkness is pretty popular. A better entry would've been Clock Tower.

I have Haunting Ground on the PS2 and Siren Blood Curse on the PS3. Both of those games are pretty good.

DeSpiria for the Dreamcast it's a strange horror RPG evolving around a special agent sent to discover an underground cult. It's set in a dystopian future after World War III which leads to some serious creepy atmosphere. The character designs are questionable but it flourishes in monster design and disturbing music (which would have been so much better in full-length but tracks are limited to 20 second loops.) I await the day I am fluent in my Japanese studies so I can play this game in it's entirety.

Haunting Ground, Galerians and Rule of Rose deserves mentions as well. I would go on about these three but I doubt you guys want to read a novel....

Serena review | CheatMasters

Avoiderdragon: The adventure genre is a storied one, with ups and downs in its history. A good number of the recent adventure titles have been met with both acclaim and criticism, the latter of which had people question if they were games to begin with in the strict sense of the word. They still get good play time and some even become favorites. In Steam, where a lot of newer adventure games are tagged as “walking simulators”, there is yet another one in the mix. There’s a lot less to cry about though as this one is free to play.

CGM Reviews: Serena

There is a cabin in the woods where the collected mementos of a pair of shared lives is preserved. A cast iron pan seasoned with wine-dampened passions and ill-fated experiments. The little wooden pendulum clock that proved too charming for her to yield. Amidst these relics of a long, unwilted romance and the years’ mirth, a man struggles to remember his lover’s face. Perhaps the key to reclaiming her lies somewhere in the cabin? It’s worth searching for, but may unlock memories more likely buried than forgotten.

I played this. It left me quite depressed. But for a free game, it's a very interesting experience.
