Product Reviews writes: "Hearing another racing game was getting released in around a month and the Race Driver: GRID demo had just been released, I thought we better give it a hands-on review and see if this game has something extra or is just "Another Racing Game". Before I go into the details, lets say that Race Driver: GRID has the "X factor", this game may not have the choice of cars and details that Gran Turismo offers, but its got a lot more gameplay than any other racing game around at present and others unique aspects that will make this game a big hit.
I am not the biggest of racing game fans, personally I am hard to please because most racing games just seem the same to me. The latest Gran Turismo is different because it has the best graphics and the full game next year will have a massive range of over 500 cars. The Race Driver: GRID demo is available to the Sony PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Codemasters have done well with this game, first impressions show nice graphics, damage that is just right, as it will affect your cars driving abilities if you smash the car too much and can even stop the car moving completely. The rewind feature is smart, it lets you rewind if you crash and try again but this feature can be turned off in online play if the host wishes."
Neil writes: "The month of May is nearly over but as 2021 continues to roll on, the bargains still keep coming. That is no more true than with the variety of discounts, bargains and absolute steals that are present in the latest Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale with the one running between 25th-31st May 2021 delivering the goods for Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players. The Humble Codemasters Racing ReBundle 2020 just launched today. It features games like F1 2019, Dirt Rally 2.0, GRID, and more.
This month’s Humble Choice features twelve games. The headliners for June are GRID Ultimate Edition, Supraland, and Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice. New games are added to Humble Choice on the first Friday of every month.
Was surprised to see Hellblade again, they gave it away last year with Humble Monthly
This game has way too little amount of cars and tracks compared to other racing simulator games.
...would have been nice especially with the drifting races. I didn't feel like it's the type of racing game anyone can pick up and play without some type of in game tutorial option.
I was crashing and smashing all over the track...in the Ebay Circuit race, the other one I cannot think of the name of it was a bit more forgiving and more reasonable to negotiate. Nevertheless, it has the potential to be a lot of fun once you get past the learning curve for the game but it stuck me as kind of tough.
Next time I give the demo a go I'll try to do it before 2:00 a.m.
