This is our first official interview with a game developer by the name ‘Varia Games’ that is developing a game called ReVeN! ReVeN is a futuristic 2D sci-fi shooter/ platformer that takes place in the planet XR-Keres .This game is inspired by the Metroid, Deus Ex, and Crysis series. In this interview, we speak with the developers of ReVeN as well as what they may do in the future!
Gary Stott writes: "Morgan justifies this decision by telling us the $33,008 successfully raised through ReVeN's campaign wasn't really enough to make the game, and so Varia had to find another way to bring in money. The answer was Xbridge, on top of a pizza delivery job. Backers must be thrilled to know that Morgan spent $2,500 of ReVeN's funding buying a car so that he could deliver pizzas every weekend."
Join Jason Lepine as he lists off Indie Wii U titles by genre through a 14 part series. Indie Corner will highlight Indie games through short game previews and put the spotlight on some unknown gems.
In this video we go over some Metroidvania Up Games.
Another month, another fresh batch of Greenlit games.
Valve has announced 50 more titles which have been approved for worldwide distribution via Steam.
The game list includes include Niko: Through the Dream, a puzzle adventure game from Spain-based Studio Paint which ran a successful crowdfunding campaign earlier this year.
Also on the list is Paper Dungeons, a fantasy board game, Rift Rush, a Oculus-based platformer which secured funding last April, and Vendetta Online, a free-to-pay Oculus enabled space MMO (yes, another one).
These games will be making their way to a platform in their own time after the final development has been completed.
Thanks for reading my interview by the way :D
Nicely done
