The best way to describe KickBeat is to refer to it as Guitar Hero with martial arts. To be honest, that’s not a bad comparison. Much like in Guitar Hero, you have to match button presses with visual cues, but instead of delivering an awesome note, you’re delivering a knockout punch or kick.
SteamFirst: When it comes to music games, I can be overly forgiving. I am the first to admit that I spent more time than would be considered healthy playing the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises, long after their relevance has subsided. Of course, considering that they are both making a comeback this year, I may have been a hipster douche in claiming that I liked something after it was cool and before it was cool again.
