Microsoft Doesn't Want Yahoo Back, Enjoys "Independence"

Bill Gates delivers an address seemingly making it clear that Microsoft doesn't want to re-enter talks in the near future

After Microsoft rejected Yahoo's demands for more money by dropping its merger offer, all eyes were on the electronics giant to see what it'd do next.

lol... Yahoo is not worth what Microsoft was going to pay for it...
Yahoo alone will be dead sooner or later... Google is too strong for MSN and Yahoo on their own.... the fact is that microsoft is still taking a risk... since even after a yahoo/MSN merge google may still dominate... so, Yahoo should be doing the merge for free... or at least do what microsoft is doing and try merging with other search engines... how hard it's to see the obvious picture for yahoo? Google came out of no where and now controls more than 90% of the search... when Yahoo before was like 40-60 at one point...

If they want to die in google hands.. let them... microsoft can use those so many billions and invested on other areas... they probably found another venture and this is why they probably abandon the idea of buying Yahoo...

I feel bad for the investors... because Yahoo stocks will drop to record low... and will slowly lose more and more marketshare to google...

sadly for MSN the same will happen...

This is a good example of how far can anti-microsoft can blur business sense.... even in the board of directors...

I am happy microsoft is abandon yahoo... let them rotten... you do not want anti-microsoft (yahoo board of directors) in your staff.
