Great news! The "original" had a great size / game length.

How big was Dark Souls compared to Demons souls?

MestreRothN4G1831d ago

Much bigger IMO. Idk, felt maybe two, three times bigger.

The director Hidetaka Miyazaki said 150% bigger at the time, iirc.

Thank you, +bubs for helpful.

I've only played Demons Souls so I was curious.

Yup. Had three characters in Dark Souls and they had 55, 50 and 35 hours of game time respectively. It may not look like it but Dark Souls is a very long game. A single playthrough without NG+ is probably around 30-40 hours and that's when you're very familiar with the game

I wish it to be bigger. I mean, this game will be so awesome that I don't It to end soon

Dark souls took me like...70 hours, and that was without even doing the em...side quest clan things, in this one it's very likely more people will be doing the statues, as the company are making them more...well, available. ANd not just some random **** you stumble across. Not to mention the PvP will be better in this one.

I think this one will be long enough too. Can't wait

The last game had a good enough sized map. It's all good.

I really feel that the last game had just the "right" amount of world and the right amount of length of game for it to be about as close to perfect as it could get for my personal tastes.
