Remember El Shaddai? In Japan They Do, and it’s Getting a Manga

Do you remember El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron? When it was released back in 2011 by UTV Ignition it received a quite positive critical response, but didn't exactly sell like hotcakes. Yet in Japan it retained a very solid fanbase, solid enough to warrant the serialization of the new manga titled El Shaddai Ceta on the Monthly G Fantasy magazine published by Square Enix.

This is a visually stunning, though somewhat underwhelming game. I wouldn't mind reading the manga to learn more about the story.

It's basically an exaggerated anime version of the real life (and very obscure) "Book of Enoch".

It was one of the most badass books in the Bible that was removed because it didn't paint angels all happy-go-lucky like most organized religions want people to believe.

El Shaddai was pretty cool and I would be interested to see what the manga looks like.

I loved this game, very underrated. The art direction and overall design was stunning. I told everyone about this game and I even own it. That's how impressed I was with this game.
