US Trademark for PS4/PS3/PS Vita JRPG Natural Doctrine Refused; Will a Title Change be Necessary?

Kadokawa Games is working on the cross platform strategy JRPG Natural Doctrine, that will be released in Japan on March the 19th for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.

Not a good title anyway, so that's probably a good thing. A name change would be nice.

Yea Natural Doctrine doesn't sound like a game I want to buy.

I mean I do because it's a RPG but sometime the name + Cover art is huge when it comes to initial appeal, especially for people who may not have otherwise heard of the game.

Yeah it's not an appealling title . it doesnt need to be something in your face to scream at you "YEAH i'm a JRPG!!!" , but it need something more epic or in tune with a fantasy

I agree. Too much the other way is just as bad.

We seriously have enough jrpgs for the vita already. It's not doing well because only the minority only play jrpgs. Which is why triple A developers are avoiding it like the plague.

Has some really nice art. Hopefully it'll be a good jrpg. I miss playing those.

I don't have problem with the title. They can slap the game as 'Frog can't jump' or something. But i still buy it because i'm hungry for JRPG with Valkyria Chronicles style.
