2014 Planned to be Huge for The Pinball Arcade

Hardcore Gamer: 2013 was a steady year for Farsight Studios. A third Kickstarter campaign succeeded, all three tables from their Kickstarters were released on all consoles, Season 2 of The Pinball Arcade wrapped and Season 3 began, PC and PS4 versions were released, and the PS4 even got a retail disc of Season 1. 2014 is no time to slow down, though

Forget Destiny
Forget The Division
Forget Watch Dogs

Its all about Pinball...

Attack from mars is one of my favourite ever pinball machines. I love virtually playing real tables so much more than all the made up ZEN tables. Williams and Bally were legends among men.

I hope to one day virtually play Revenge from mars, as its a rare machine that I have yet to come across and is almost impossible to emulate.

@fried goat. for sure! i like pinball arcade more than zen, but zen is cool too. i love attack from mars, my favorite is theatre of magic. i like most of them (the ones that arent buggy and slow frame rate, season two has better quality ones). i think its amazing i get to play all of these recreated tables, ones ive played and a lot that i didnt as a kid. add me on psn StreetVeteran1.

The first table of season 3 was Fish Tales, not White Water.

Ok. So they might as well just take the game out of the retail and digital stores, because they are esentially killing it’s appeal by not renewing the licenses. Wow. Well, hopefully Williams and Midway do their own digital games. Id even pay $5000 plus for a full sized digital pinball machine that includes all of the classic tables. Just as long as it’s 4K. Which I think is FarSights biggest issue..
Not keeping up to date with new tables and the newer consoles and taking advantage of 4K, to help sharpen up the visuals. Which, really, would’ve just taken a resolution boost and 16xAF, maybe add some ambient occlusion to make the table some feel more three dimensional.

You should only worry about this if you've never played pinball fx. 😋
