Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep Expansion Announced

Warner Brothers have today announced the next expansion for Lord of the Rings Online. Helm's Deep will let players take an important role in the famous battle alongside the likes of Théoden, while also expanding the virtual world of Middle-Earth to the west of Rohan. If that's not enough, you'll also be able to continue to level your character for a further 10 levels, right up to 95.

It feels very dated now, although not necessarily in a bad way. It's a very traditional feeling MMO, but the amount of content and the attention to detail is absolutely insane. Definitely worth checking out if you're interested in the lore of Middle-Earth.

With that said, there's no way any of these add-ons will be of interest to you for quite a while.

Well, with Helm's Deep they are aiming to let players get in on the action at level 10, at least for the Battle of Hornburg part, but otherwise most of the expansions are all aimed towards high level players.
