PlayStationAccess - 2014 is already shaping up to be an amazing year for PlayStation 4. We take you through the 20 PS4 games you need to start getting excited about over the coming year.
PushSquare:
DriveClub, the legendary PS4 racer from shuttered Runcorn studio Evolution, has such an interesting story.
Originally announced alongside the PS4, the game had been intended as a launch title – we even played it in a big London church Sony had rented to showcase the new system prior to its release.
Evolution was done dirty... DC is still the most stunning visual game of its generation. They certainly deserved better in the end.
Loved it.
Now here's a game that would benefit from a remaster.
4K, 60 FPS
I'd buy it.
Brilliant game, I really miss it, and it deserved so much better than what Sony did to it.
Most important reason I liked it; It was FUN. That’s it. The actual gameplay, throwing a car around corners, the challenging AI opponents, the entertaining tracks which were peak-design, etc etc, it was above all just FUN to play.
Huzaifah from eXputer writes, "My favorite type of genre in games is when enemies are merely animal fodder in the eyes of the protagonist's sheer power."
Fans of the action-adventure franchise have been eagerly awaiting news of a potential sequel to one of the best games on the PS4.
Umm ... how about this?
First we get the Tushima sequel(coz its most rumored)
Then a new Resistance (need new PS SP FPS)
Then a totally new IP (new IPs are always interesting)
And then a new inFamous?
I had a great time with the second son. Never got to play the originals and hope they get remastered one day.
If I had a choice between another Infamous game and another Spider-Man game, I choose Spider-Man. Sony should spend its resources on its winners.
3 games (at least) that I'm missing on this list:
1: Rime, which looks tremendous, art-design wise.
2: Trials Fusion, for the simple fact that Trials HD and Trials Evolution are bloody brilliant.
3: Dark Souls 2, cause it's Dark Souls 2. Duh.
Out of those 20 must play games on ps4 there is half of them that can be played on pc/xbone... The other half is a mix of small indie game and bland ip remake.
*SIGH*
