Analyst: Activision to Exceed Q4 Expectations

Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Michael Pachter has raised Activision's Q4 revenue estimation from $364 million to $425 million, citing an expectation that the company will "report results significantly higher than guidance".

In an e-mail to Next-Gen, Pachter wrote that "Based upon March quarter NPD data, Activision's U.S. retail sales are 88% above the prior year quarter while revenue guidance for the quarter is only +12% over last year's level, implying strong upside." He also raised the Q4 estimate for pro forma EPS from $0.05 to $0.09. Activision's Q4 2008 period ended on March 31st.
